Fell ponies are mostly black, strong, and sure-footed, which inspired Liquorice's classic all-black look.

What does the word "fell" mean?
"Fell" is an old word, from Norse, for the hills and high moorland of northern England. Fell ponies are named after these hills, where herds have roamed for centuries.

Why are Liquorice's face markings black instead of white?
Fell ponies traditionally have very little white on them, so Liquorice's face markings are made in black faux leather instead. This keeps her classic all-black look while adding a special detail that shines in the light.

Give your rider the horse of their dreams – bring Liquorice home today! 🐴

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0605/7171/3582/files/liquorice-black-fell-pony-hobby-horse-bridle-side-view_jpg_17c34cc6-a5fb-48af-9d49-31955e893d95.jpg?v=1790713788
